   Recruited to develop and lead a global data science organization for Johnson & Johnson Vision.• With executive leadership involvement & approval, developed an AI strategy & roadmap to help advance Vision’s ambition of providing healthy sight for life.• Led and partnered with regional and functional analytic / data science practitioners to enable platform centric capabilities for scale, including adoption of a common analytics & machine learning platform. • Focused on development of AI/ML use cases that are critical to business and/or scalable across Vision. Examples include development of Marketing Mix Models, Commercial & Supply Chain Forecasting Models, Consumer Churn Predictive Models, Eye Care Professional Targeting Models, Customer Service Order Automation, and many more. • Conducted and sponsored a variety of AI trainings & hackathons for the organization, including an award-winning Generative AI / Large Language Model hackathon. “Transforming Vision Care with GenAI” was a finalist in Dataiku’s 2024 Frontrunner Awards in the category of Best AI Democratization Program. • Through onboarding current state assessment, identified opportunity to advance data operating model. Secured Vision leadership approval for additional investments in this field and ultimately assumed responsibility for Data Governance & Strategy.• Implemented a variety of critical and 1st ever data governance initiatives including a company-wide Data Catalog, Data Governance Councils, Data Operating Model KPI’s & Metrics, and Data Governance Policies & Procedures. • Core Team Member of Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech Data Science Community Steering Committee. Helped with a variety of initiatives to advance the culture & capabilities across MedTech, including serving as the lead organizer for the 2024 Annual MedTech Data Science Showcase.
