KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Adopt and drive best practice with regard to broadcast technologies.• Supporting engineering and production teams to achieve a high standard of production and output.• Managing and monitoring of broadcast IP channel output and the supporting infrastructure.• Oversee the routing and configuration of SDI and TS over IP circuits.• Develop and oversee the maintenance schedule of broadcast production and associated equipment.• Assisting the project team on future progression of the systems.• Reviewing issues and ensuring faults are investigated for continual service improvement.• Main point of technical escalation and fault management for issues within the facility.• Line management of engineers, including staff rostering, training and development, assessment of ability, guidance and welfare.• Ensuring documentation is provided, up to date and created where necessary.• Process and workflow improvements to meet the changing demands of the company.• Improve process and instructional guidance documentation.• Liaison with ingest, MCR and other engineering teams to uphold signal continuity.
