ABOUT ADRIAN MATTHEWS
I design and build socio technical systems that shape behaviour at population level.I work where infrastructure, people, and decision making collide. Especially in environments where risk, accountability, and real world constraints make delivery difficult. My role is to make complex systems usable. I identify the constraint, expose it, and turn it into practical infrastructure that people can actually operate.I have delivered across national infrastructure, UK standards, and sustainable systems. My current focus is prevention led safety planning and human centric AI.I am building the Personal Safety Planning Companion, a relational infrastructure layer designed to support consent led coordination across services. The aim is to reduce repetition, improve decision making, and create safer outcomes in real world conditions.Alongside this, I evaluate and improve AI systems using structured human in the loop methods. My focus is on reasoning, explainability, safety, and reliability under pressure. The goal is consistent. Build systems that work in practice, not just on paper.
