ABOUT ADRIAN GLENDINNING

I\'m a responsible, hardworking and experienced IT engineer who is a keen team player, who relishes a challenge and is focused on results. My key skills while at Global Payments, Novosco, NantHealth and previously with Honeywell Process Solutions in Sydney, Australia, maintaining and monitoring a multi-million dollar payment gateway, becoming team Splunk SIEM SME, expertise in multiple virtualisation technologies, cloud service application implementation, IT service desk troubleshooting, lab management, virtualization, networking, software testing and fault finding, having initially started working on software patch testing, then promoted to work as part of the global virtualization team qualifying our industrial process management software on a virtual platform. Third level educated, and passed the Cisco Certified Networking Associate, vmware certified professional on multiple releases, and Azure fundamentals exams prior. Have gained valuable networking experience at both switch and router level while maintaining and upgrading all level 2, 2.5 and level 3 networking equipment in production environments. Have maintained vmware\'s vSphere product on a wide range of infrastructure scenarios including vCenter and ESXi host installation and maintenance, installing VM\'s on SAN, vSAN and local storage, level 2.5 networking, thin clients, vm backup to NAS storage. Experience using vCloud Director and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Solarwinds MSP, PRTG, LogicMonitor and Zabbix. I\'ve learnd basic programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash for ex) gained experience and knowledge of working with distributed systems, gained experience with Kubernetes while at Navinet/Nanthealth, plenty of experience in financial environment while at Global Payments and am used to working in an agile environment.
