Conduct extensive HSE audits to ensure conformity of company’s HSE Management System as well as accepted industry standards. • Coordinate and oversee rig safety and HSE training for personnel on 4 offshore Jack Up rigs and 4 land rigs • Played a key role in the development, implementation and integration of company’s EHS Management System • Liaise with oil companies and third party department heads for HSE policy and procedure conformity • Oversee and managed 16 Safety and Training Technicians • Assist HSE Manager & Drilling Superintendent in daily rig operations • Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of STOP program as well as following up on any identified safety issues • Responsible for the development of trend analysis based on data gathered from STOP program • Played a key role in the development of two Safety Cases as well as providing training and guidance in the Bow Tie Workshops • Ensure integrity and accuracy of assigned rig’s fire and safety plans prior to ABS submission • Responsible for ensuring Safety Induction Course is successfully completed for all personnel arriving in-country and before admittance to rig • Company Incident Liaison Officer who oversees the case management of injured personnel. • Focal person for all HSE activities on the rigs and report to Company Representative and Drilling Manager when needed. • Conducted safety leadership training in Singapore for the two new jack up rigs built. • Wrote and put together all the safety equipment and in charge of insuring all safety equipment met industry standards and were put in proper position to be in compliance. • Was on the upstream team for Ras Gas in Doha Qatar and met with operation managers and head operations personnel on a daily basis. I have worked in seven countries and been in the oil and gas industry for 33 years. Being a safety leader and leading by example is the way I try to conduct myself.
