I’m a passionate public speaker, experienced leader, and coach who thrives on inspiring growth whether in lecture halls, boardrooms, or on ultra-marathon trails. With a proven track record in driving change, building high-performing teams, and fostering inclusive, trust-based environments, I bring energy and clarity to every challenge. As Head of Workplace Learning and Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter, I lead strategic initiatives to elevate degree apprenticeships, mentoring provision, and cross-faculty collaboration. My focus is on building a thriving community of best practice that supports learners and empowers educators.Holding an MBA from the University of Exeter and a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, I combine academic insight with real-world experience to deliver impactful leadership and learning strategies.Outside the university, I’m an ultra-marathon runner and resilience advocate. My talks connect the grit and mindset needed to run 250km with the resilience required to lead, adapt, and succeed in today’s workplace. I speak regularly on topics including the 7 Cs of resilience, growth mindset, and overcoming adversity, drawing on both personal endurance and professional expertise.Whether I’m supporting apprentices, speaking on stage, or pushing through mile 80 of a race, my mission is the same: to help people unlock their potential and lead with purpose.
