After graduation, I became involved with the Portland AIA chapter who subsequently connected me with a local Architects Without Boarders project. Our team created a drawing set to assist local builders and craftsmen construct “earthquake-resistant” schoolhouses at multiple sites in Haiti devastated by the 2010 earthquake.
