I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I am drawn to a career in accounting because of the numerous opportunities the field offers. As the foundation of business, accounting is applicable across industries. I am dedicated to assisting my community and empowering minority students to pursue careers in corporate America.Through volunteering and involvement in club activities, I have connected with individuals in Clark County, offering them essential resources. As a first-generation college student, I recognize the value of gaining practical skills. My time at UNLV has helped me grow into a leader within my community, enabling me to mentor others on their journey to success. Some of my key experiences include serving as Vice President of the Color Business Association (CBA), being a 3-year member of Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), and holding the position of Associate Justice for the Consolidated Students of UNLV.
