As a University of Salford graduate with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC), I seek roles to leverage my expertise in policy advocacy and student voice enhancement. My journey as a Sabbatical Officer at the University of Salford Students\' Union honed my skills in policy development, where I significantly improved education access for students from conflict zones and successfully advocated against stringent guarantor requirements by lobbying over 70 MPs. This initiative led to impactful legislative changes that benefited over students. My role at the University of Salford Council enriched my understanding of the complexities of educational governance, fostering my ability to navigate and influence policy effectively. I am eager to apply my passion for creating inclusive environments and my proven track record in policy advocacy to a GRC role, where I can continue to drive meaningful change at an organizational level.
