About Adnan

I am one of three physicians in the world currently practicing an exclusive combination of pediatric dermatology and dermatopathology. I joined Dermpath Diagnostics New York in 2018 and have been practicing pediatric dermatology at Metropolitan Hospital as an attending physician supervising derm residents of New York Medical College. Additionally, I teach dermatopathology at Lincoln Medical Center with the derm residents of Weill Cornell Medicine.Having training and board certifications in both pediatric dermatology and dermatopathology, I have a developed a particular interest in their intersection at pediatric dermatopathology. This combination of training enables me to bring a unique clinicopathological perspective to challenging cases. I also continue to engage in research in the spheres of pediatric dermatology and dermatopathology.In addition to my professional responsibilities, I am an active member of numerous medical societies. I serve as the chairman of the marketing committee for the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, and on the peer review committee of the American Society of Dermatopathology. I am a frequent peer reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology, for which I serve on the editorial board.
