I’m currently working as an IT Technical Support Intern, where I get hands-on experience implementing and managing Microsoft 365 and Active Directory systems. On a daily basis, I create and manage AD users, groups, and organizational units, apply Group Policies, and troubleshoot issues like login failures, account lockouts, and DNS errors to keep everything running smoothly.I also work with Microsoft 365 tenants—setting up custom domains, provisioning users, assigning licenses, and managing roles. I handle shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and dynamic groups, and troubleshoot Exchange Online issues like delayed emails, NDRs, or spoofed messages. Part of my role involves analyzing message headers (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to figure out why emails fail and help users get their messages delivered.I’ve also configured retention policies, transport rules, and compliance settings, and assisted with migrating OneDrive data when users leave. Working with Entra ID and Azure AD Connect, I manage roles, permissions, and sync issues.Beyond that, I troubleshoot networking issues like IP conflicts or DNS resolution errors, and get exposure to Microsoft Defender by identifying phishing, malware, and security alerts. I also follow the ticket lifecycle from SLA responses to documentation and escalations, while learning enterprise IT operations by shadowing senior engineers.This role has really helped me understand how enterprise IT works in real life, and I’m constantly learning new ways to solve problems and improve systems.Skills Highlighted: Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Networking, Security & Compliance, Troubleshooting, OneDrive & SharePoint
