About Adji Diop

As a Senior Program Associate at Corus International, I managed multiple public health projects in Central Africa, focusing on women empowerment, HIV/AIDS prevention, and nutrition access. I collaborated with local partners, donors, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and sustainability of the interventions. I also contributed to new business development and proposal writing, securing a large grant from USAID for a maternal and child health project in the Democratic Republic of Congo.Prior to joining Corus International, I worked as a nutrition project coordinator at myAgro, where I led a deworming campaign that reached over children in Senegal. I developed key relationships with government agencies and other local actors, and built a strong team within myAgro to ensure project success. I also served as a media and communications manager at Peace Corps, coordinating efforts across 18 posts for the STOMP Out Malaria Initiative. I facilitated knowledge sharing and collaboration through boot camps and online platforms, and supported the malaria team members in their activities.I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Tulane University, with a focus on global health. I am passionate about improving public health access and reducing preventable deaths in low-resource settings, especially in Africa. I have a strong cultural awareness and language skills, as I speak fluent Wolof and have lived and worked in several African countries. I am skilled in program management, cross-cultural communication, and new business development, and I am always eager to learn and grow as a public health professional.
