Hello I\'m Aditya. I\'m finishing my M.Sc. in Electromobility at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and currently work as a Werkstudent in Zerspanung (precision machining) at Schaeffler AG in Herzogenaurach.Before Germany, I spent two years as a Mechanical Design Engineer in Pune, where I learned the thing most CAD courses don\'t teach you: a beautiful design that costs too much to make is a bad design.A few numbers from that chapter:→ saved per production batch through smarter jig & fixture design (Penta Designers)→ ~40 man-hours and in costs eliminated at ADSS using Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping→ Reduced scrap rates through GD & T discipline across multiple SOLIDWORKS / Creo / Catia / Ansys projectsNow I\'m combining that manufacturing-floor perspective with what I\'ve learned at FAU about electromobility, battery systems, and e-powertrain design. My current project thesis at Institute FAPS develops an algorithmic path-planning approach for robotic non-planar fusion coil winding — Python, FreeCAD, OCC, and a lot of coffee.What I bring to a German engineering team: Hands-on CAD & CAE: SOLIDWORKS, Creo, Catia, Autodesk Inventor, Ansys, MATLAB Manufacturing fluency: CNC / Zerspanung, GD & T, FEA, lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, VSM, SMED) Project & process discipline: Google Project Management Certificate, McKinsey Forward Program Deutsch auf B1-Niveau (aktiv am Verbessern — derzeit Richtung B2)🤝 A cross-cultural perspective from working in Indian and German engineering culturesWhat I\'m looking for in 2026:Graduate or entry-level roles in mechanical development, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering — ideally in automotive, e-mobility, or precision manufacturing.
