Responsible for risk reporting, risk management strategy, risk metrics, managing team of 4 FTEs.Developed and implemented an operational risk management and governance framework for the bank’s off-shore risk management activities in response to regulatory (OCC) and internal policy requirements. The work included:o Developing and operationalizing a risk appetite statement and associated risk metrics as per the requirements of Corporate Risk (second line of defense)o Developing and implementing a risk assessment process for all lines of businesso Documenting 1200+ process level controls for all lines of business o Documenting roles and responsibilities of first line of defense for off-shore risk management o Documenting policies, procedures and process flow documents for all off shore risk management processeso Creating a risk governance document in response to the requirements of the enterprise documenting the governance structures (board and management level committees) and their oversight of off shore delivery activities and off shore risk management processes. Providing governance and oversight for the quarterly RCSA process for off shore activities.Developed a point of view document (internal distribution only) on the potential impact of “black swan events” to WF off shore locations and response strategies to consider.Performed an analysis of existing third party service providers supporting WF to develop a risk profile and risk score for each service provider which was leveraged by the RMC team to make refinements to the third party service provider review program. Developing an analysis on concentration risk in off shore locations to identify short and long term exit strategies.Developing monthly, quarterly and ad hoc risk reports for various stakeholders and the executive leadership team.Participate as a non-voting member / presenter in the monthly off shore governance committee meetings.
