   As the Laundry & Linen Manager in one of the largest five star hotel of the capital, I am responsible for: • Catering to 507 rooms, 15 apartments, 7 restaurants, banquets, health club, spa.•Non Resident Guest Laundry services.• Managing the total procurement and maintenance of Linen, uniforms and upholstery items for the hotel, starting from fabric selection, sampling, measurements, processing, receiving and stock keeping.• Responsible for the total inventory of all linen, uniforms and upholstery items and their quarterly stock taking, inventory management and financial reporting.• Initiated and sourced outside hotel\'s Laundry businesses and maximised the departmental revenues to more than 100% of the budget.• 1,300 is the rooms we cater to of all hotels combined, with a daily load of 6 tonnes.• Providing an impeccable guest laundry service with almost no complaints. • Checking the cost incurred and revenue earned to match with the budgets. • Improvising techniques to minimise cost and maximise revenue. • Creating a harmonious, productive environment for the colleagues to extract the best out of them. • Training, coaching, mentoring staff to achieve their goals and remain aligned with the hotel’s business goal.
