As a Lead SOC Specialist at QOMPLX, I prioritize and analyze security events, confirm security alerts, and perform initial triage to determine the severity and impact of the attack. I collaborate with clients and security teams to assess and remediate security risks associated with Windows and Azure Active Directory services, such as privilege escalation, lateral movement, and credential misuse. I also design custom rules tailored to the organization\'s specific security requirement based on logs provided, using the MITRE ATTACK framework.I have a Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from The University of Texas at Arlington, where I performed vulnerability assessments of the database and website using various tools, and participated in workshops, seminars, and Capture the Flag competitions to enhance my knowledge and practical skills in cybersecurity. I have proficiency in network security, Python, Bash scripting, Linux, cloud platforms, and tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, Nessus, and Splunk-SIEM. I am highly passionate about cybersecurity and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies to protect organizations from cyber threats.
