Currently working in Product Control department as Business controllers- Daily activity involves Front Office P&L analysis and reporting on T+1 basis- Ensuring that the daily P&L is accurately reported & reconciled between P&L tools & management reporting systems- Analyzing the new trading activity, market moves P&L etc. on daily basis. Analyzing thecontributory factors in total P&L of the day- Providing commentary for daily P&L to stakeholders and for any FTA’s to desk- Liaising with the Middle-office and desk to understand the bookings and flag if any booking issues result in incorrect P&L- Additional month end activities involves leveling of trade types (DNA mapping), provisions held reconciliations, providing monthly and quarterly commentaries, verification of valuations adjustments, late trade adjustments, Cancel & Correct trades etc- Prior to part of this team, worked as line controllers who handles the back office reporting. As part of this team, was involved in BO P&L validation, resolution/escalation of issues etc. Additional month end activities involved reconciliation of ledger balances and other reporting in compliant with various regulators.
