About Aditya Mahajan
At Northeastern University, I\'m presently working towards a master\'s degree in mechanical engineering. As a research assistant, I work primarily in the area of additive manufacturing and am interested in creating and improving novel manufacturing processes. One of my main duties is using MATLAB to compute the profilometer results from a Keyence sensor so that I can simulate the manufacturing process in real time. This assists us in identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing the required changes to boost productivity and cut waste. I have prior work experience at Chemdist Membrane Systems Pvt. Ltd. as an application engineer. My key responsibilities were product optimization, the design and manufacturing of special-purpose equipment, and team management on the oxygen concentrator project. I pursued my B.E. in mechanical engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. I have participated in SAE BAJA 2017 and 2018 and have intermediate knowledge of designing software such as CATIA, SolidWorks (CSWA and CSWP), and ANSYS. I have strong grasping abilities and previous design experience. I am always interested in taking on new tasks and completing them in creative ways. I am a dependable person who is great at time management.
