Develop firmware for LitePoint’s new products using C++ • Collaborate with FPGA engineers to define, develop and execute new product design requirements • Develop firmware design specifications, communicate and verify these specifications with the RF designers, and implement these in a timely and high quality manner • Create high level system diagram to be used across teams using Visio • Participate in design reviews • Proficiency reading hardware specifications and schematics • Work closely with cross functional teams including FPGA, hardware and calibration engineers in developing, testing and integrating hardware features during bring-up phase • Develop python scripts to exercise firmware and hardware • Write unit tests using Python to validate hardware functionality both pre and post calibration • Proficiency debugging issues at hardware level using oscilloscopes and analyzers • Create nightly regression tests in Python which helps to catch issues quickly resulting in good overall code quality • Manage multiple projects and provide deliverable based on business priorities
