About Aditya Dalal

Hi! my name is Aditya Dalal. I define myself as an artist who is a designer on the side. I am from Mumbai, India. I quote by John Ruskins inspired me at the time I read it,\"When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece.\" I want to work in sustainable architecture and as an innovator in the development of recycled building materials. I believe design has the power to inspire, support, create joy, uplift lives, and strengthen the spirit of community. As a designer, I understand the importance of crafts and the crafts person which give Architecture its true form and beauty.As a student I have let my imagination run wild and have poured my heart out into my projects leading to design excellence nominations Fall 2018 and was awarded the Design Excellence Award, Fall 2019. To complement my experience, I obtained a Master of Architecture from Arizona State University, which fine-tuned my skills in storytelling, design process, design development, 3D modeling, presentation graphics and public speaking.I am glad to say that I am very proud of the work that I do, whether it’s interpreting design intent into working drawings or general office management. If awarded the opportunity to prove myself, I will come with that same work ethic and motivation. In addition, I have extensive experience with a broad range of design and software skills including Revit, Auto-CAD, Rhino, Grasshopper and Adobe Suite. And moreover, being a small freelance designer has allowed me to appreciate the other areas of architecture.
