Additional Research Projects:(1) Managed operation, testing, and firmware development of eight parallel-connected H-bridges in the wireless charging system, successfully demonstrating 800 kW power transfer through a DC-DC circulation test.(2) Mentored four undergraduate students from USU in topology selection, simulation, closed-loop control, hardware design, and testing of a 1 kVA solar converter for grid integration as part of IFEC-2022 (International Future Energy Challenge). The system featured a 1 MHz, 48 V to 400 V LLC DC-DC resonant converter and a gate driver-integrated 600 V GaN-based 3-ϕ inverter connecting to a 208 V grid.(3) Conducted simulation, design, firmware development, and testing of a 500 W BLDC motor-based e-bike with speed, torque, and regenerative braking controls in the EV Design Lab course at USU.
