About Aditya Adi Tyagi
I’m passionate about advancing public health equity by breaking down barriers created by SDOH and tackling disparities at their root. My mission is to expand access to care for underserved, unhoused, uninsured, and under-resourced communities through a multifaceted approach that includes direct clinical outreach, preventative health programs, public health education, and advocacy. As founder of Connect2Health, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, I lead efforts in bringing free or low-cost preventative healthcare—including medical, dental, and vision services—via public health clinics, mobile units, on-site screenings, vaccination drives, medication access programs, and CHC\'s. We also pack and distribute food boxes, hygiene kits, wellness and sick kits, and harm reduction tools like naloxone. For families, we connect them with essential home and baby supplies, promoting both health and stability in vulnerable communities.A cornerstone of our work is health literacy—ensuring individuals feel informed, empowered, and confident navigating the healthcare system. Through partnerships with clinics, nonprofits, and public health agencies, we aim to create sustainable, community-led impact that uplifts from the ground up.I believe change begins with empathy, education, and action. Through Connect2Health, we’ve served 9,500+ individuals across five countries—and we’re just getting started. My research interests lie at the intersection of public health and medicine, especially chronic disease prevention, maternal and infant health, mental health access, infectious disease control, and care expansion for marginalized and underinsured populations.I also launched the MindBody Nexus Podcast, a passion project exploring the powerful connection between mental and physical health. Each episode shares short, accessible insights into innovations in medicine, wellness, and public health—designed to spark curiosity and inspire action, especially for youth, teen and underserved communities. It’s more than a podcast—it’s a platform to build confidence, awareness, and hope.Outside of advocacy and research, I enjoy swimming (and teaching swim + water safety!), writing about healthcare and STEM, playing guitar, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
