HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) is a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Mittal Energy Investment Pvt Ltd, Singapore. HMEL owns and operates a world-class Integrated Refinery-Petrochemical Complex ‘Guru Gobind Singh Refinery’ at Bathinda, Punjab comprising of Crude Oil Refinery, Multi-Feed Cracker along with Polyethylene and Polypropylene Plants. My primary role & responsibilities include – Generation of leads for setting up new Retail Outlets (RO’s) & to check if the leads are in accordance with the market area plan. Selection and appointment of dealers Pan India Assessment & evaluation of the financial and business acumen of the prospects Liaising with different Govt. offices on regular basis for necessary approvals/NOC’s To identify new business opportunities for setting up RO’s Evaluate and analyse un-represented / under-represented markets Monitoring new developments - industrial & commercial, along with competitor expansion Monitor – highway development (NH/SH/ODR) & city development plans and to analyse its impact on the existing network Continuously study the changes in traffic patterns – Rural/Urban
