Pace Priority Capital Projects, Illinois ($1.2 Billion)Pace, the Suburban Bus Division of the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), is one of three operating divisions of the RTA, responsible for providing bus and other mass transportation services throughout the suburban areas of the six-county region of Northeastern Illinois and all paratransit services in the RTA region. The RTA oversees finances, secures funding, and conducts transit planning for Pace, CTA, and Metra. The Rebuild Illinois Capital Bill passed by the Illinois legislature in 2019 provided funding to Pace for its Priority Capital Projects from 2020 through 2025.
