   Project Name: 30 KTPA Chloro Toluene’s Greenfield project, GACL (Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited).Basic Engineering Package (BEP):Preparation of Line List and sizing, Equipment List, Utility Distribution Diagram (UDD) and Utility consumption summary.Performed Mass and energy balance calculations.Developed PFD, P & ID and Cause and Effect diagram (CED).Performed pump sizing and hydraulics, control valve sizing and selection, thermal design of shell and tube heat exchangers, design of cooling towers and dyke walls. Detailed Engineering Package (DEP):Prepared datasheets for pumps, storage tanks, heat exchangers, PSV/PRV, breather valves, valves, cooling towers, and other bought-out items.Prepared IPDS for control valves and flowmeters. Vendor package review, preparation of Technical Queries (TQs) and Technical Recommendations (TRs) for procured equipment.Provided technical assistance during procurement, developed enquiry specifications, reviewed vendor drawings, and inspected procured items.Developed detailed control philosophy, alarm and trip schedules.Participated in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of YOKOGAWA’s DCS for reviewing graphics, interlock checking as per CED.Pre-Commissioning:Prepared loop marking and sub-loop marking, Supervised line erection, box-up approvals, and punch point resolution as per isometric and P & ID.Executed cold and hot water circulation and process readiness checks.Conducted YOKOGAWA DCS testing, interlock logic, graphics, units, and functionality.Commissioning:Prepared stepwise commissioning plan and activity schedule.Successfully executed commissioning in shift operation.
