Working with the Data Science & and engineering team for transaction Data acquisition using Big Data engineering tools & and AWS Handled 450M/day Merchant transaction data, transformed using Pyspark, and SparkSQL through AWS glue jobs Worked on creating various infrastructures on AWS using Terraform like EKS Clusters, Route53, Glue jobs, Step Functions, and Weighted Routing between applications, etc. Handled data flow from Kinesis Data Firehose delivery stream to S3 buckets e.g. Raw to trusted to refined using AWS step functions, glue jobs, pyspark, SparkSQL, and then utilize valuable data for analytics. Built various EMR jobs for ingesting large volumes of data into Redshift tables, to be used by the GQL application for analytics. Optimised Ingestion flow by reducing suffle operations as much as possible, gained almost 80% time reduction.
