I’m a Petroleum Engineer currently working as a Assistant Executive Engineer(Drilling) with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), posted onboard Sagar Uday in offshore jack-up operations.Working as a Driller has given me real, hands-on exposure to offshore drilling — from handling well control situations to making quick decisions during critical operations. The rig floor teaches you discipline, teamwork, and the importance of safety every single day. It has strengthened my technical understanding and helped me develop confidence in high-pressure environments where precision truly matters.My focus is always on safe and efficient operations. I believe strong communication, situational awareness, and continuous learning are key to delivering consistent performance offshore.Attending the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) 2024 – Education Week, sponsored by Saudi Aramco, gave me valuable global exposure and reinforced my belief that collaboration and knowledge-sharing drive innovation in the energy sector.I was also honored to receive the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) L. Austin Weeks Undergraduate Grant and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) ExxonMobil Undergraduate Scholarship, which continue to motivate me to grow technically and contribute responsibly to the industry.Still learning.
