As a Sustainable Technology and Decarbonization Specialist, I help governments, multilaterals, and corporates turn climate ambition into practical, scalable action — from shaping policies and finance mechanisms to building transition credit frameworks that unlock new opportunities for deep decarbonization.With nearly a decade of experience in clean energy and power & utilities consulting, my work brings together policy, finance, and emerging technologies to drive meaningful impact. I’ve been deeply involved in developing Article 6 readiness plans, carbon market structures, and transition pathways for industries and regions aiming to accelerate their net-zero journey.What I Do- Lead South Pole’s Policy & Strategy initiatives across South Asia and the Middle East, managing high-impact projects and building partnerships that drive real change- Support the adoption of innovative technologies — from green hydrogen and energy storage to smarter grids — powered by carbon finance, blended structures, and transition credit mechanisms- Provide strategic advice on market design and governance, helping to shape Article 6 frameworks, MRV systems, and domestic carbon markets- Develop decarbonization roadmaps for hard-to-abate sectors like steel, cement, and utilities, blending technical insight with actionable solutions- Share insights through publications, forums, and dialogues on climate policy, carbon finance, and transition credits.Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, ensuring every project delivers technical depth, innovation, and measurable value.At the core of my role is one goal: to make decarbonization actionable by combining the right mix of policy, technology, and finance to create scalable, verifiable climate impact across emerging and developing markets.
