Designed schematics and PCB layout for Kitchen Aid small appliances (KASA) products including EMI filters, AC-DC non-isolated power supplies, DC-DC buck converters, and mixed-signal routing.2) Defined HV/LV net classes and implemented UL/IEC-compliant creepage and clearance rules.3) Executed critical component placement based on datasheet and safety constraints.4) Defined BOM variants, performed EOL risk mitigation, and coordinated with global procurement teams.5) Led technical design reviews (Schematic and Layout) with internal and global hardware teams.6) Prepared supplier RFQ packages and closed DFM, DFA, and DFT feedback for production release.7) Led a P4G cost-reduction workshop for KitchenAid & Small Appliances products, generating 80+ cost ideas with cross-functional teams.8) Evaluated and prioritized ideas into quick wins (BOM updates) and full projects (layout and validation changes).9) Executed ECM-based BOM optimization for Relays and TRIACs through Datasheet comparison, Schematic/BOM updates, supplier sampling, and functional testing.10) Released approved changes to production via CNs, delivering $275K in validated cost savings across mixers, blenders, and hand mixers.
