ABOUT ADITYA NAIR
I am an MSc Mechanical Engineering graduate from Swansea University, with a diverse background spanning academia, industry, and research. My journey began at Sardar Patel College of Engineering in Mumbai, where I led and contributed to various student projects. These experiences sharpened my skills in- Mechanical Design & Analysis: Proficiency in 3D modeling, static structural analysis, and CFD simulations- Project Management: Leading teams, managing timelines, and delivering results- Communication & Collaboration: Effectively conveying complex ideas and working within diverse teams.Between my academic pursuits, I worked as a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Piping) at Pyramid E&C in Mumbai. In this role, I served as a piping stress engineer, responsible for evaluating and ensuring the structural integrity of stress-critical piping systems and supports. My duties included- Conducting stress analysis on piping systems to ensure compliance with industry standards- Collaborating with design engineers to optimize piping layouts and configurations- Reviewing and approving piping designs, specifications, and drawings- Preparing detailed reports on stress analysis findings and recommendations. At Swansea University, I had the privilege of collaborating with the Biomedical Engineering Simulation and Testing (BEST) Lab, particularly with the skin research team. In this role, I utilized Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to model the skin\'s response to mechanical and electromagnetic stimuli, employing advanced material models to simulate non-linear skin dynamics.I am deeply committed to leveraging my mechanical engineering expertise to develop innovative solutions and enhance existing systems, driving efficiency and performance across diverse applications.
