Amazon AppSec - a team within Amazon - focuses on building and maintaining the security of Amazon\'s products and services. This includes conducting security reviews of code, infrastructure, and applications to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. We also develop and implement security controls and best practices across the company.My role as a Sr. Technical Program Manager at Amazon has been to analyze the current processes to improve our security services to partners and customers and secure their applications and systems. This involves quantifying performance, strategizing effective roadmaps to meet & exceed exec. leadership goals, and collaborate across teams to drive standardization and automation. What I love about this job is being able to leverage my technical and program management skills while interacting with the industry experts, drive changes for efficiency and quality improvements, and pursue opportunities for continuous innovation in areas that provide the best value to all stakeholders.
