About Aditya Kumar
As a Doctoral Fellow at IIT Bombay, I have been conducting cutting-edge research in the field of chemical engineering for over five years, focusing on multiscale simulations and model/method development for heterogeneous catalysis and materials research. My mission is to create a robust mathematical modeling framework that can enhance our understanding of the structure and reactivity of materials and catalysts, and help design better and more efficient processes for various applications.My research has resulted in multiple publications and presentations at international conferences, demonstrating my ability to produce high-quality and impactful work. I have also acquired strong skills in programming (Fortran, Python, Matlab), numerical methods, data analysis, and characterization techniques (SEM, UV-VIS, Raman Spectrometer). In addition, I have contributed to the academic community by teaching and mentoring undergraduate students as a Teaching Assistant for two courses in 2022. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and innovation in the field of chemical engineering, and aspire to become a leading researcher and educator in this domain.
