Worked on optimizing the transport properties of highly sulfonated SPEEK-based membranes through the development of epoxy-modified nanocomposite systems aimed at improving proton conductivity, mechanical stability, and dimensional integrity. The incorporation of epoxy-based crosslinkers was explored to mitigate excessive swelling and enhance water retention under varying humidity and temperature conditions.Currently working on the design and study of polysulfone-based composite membranes for proton exchange membrane water electrolyser (PEMWE) applications, focusing on tailoring polymer–filler interactions to improve proton transport pathways, oxidative stability, and long-term durability under operating conditions.

ABOUT ADITYA E

As a Chemical Engineering undergraduate at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, I am an enthusiastic and dedicated researcher with a strong interest in macromolecules, polymers, and materials science, particularly their applications in energy storage systems.I have worked on the synthesis and study of thermo-responsive polymer gels, focusing on induced dual-responsive behaviours as a function of different system parameters. Additionally, I have contributed to improving the transport properties of highly sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone)(SPEEK)-based nanocomposite membranes for redox-flow battery and proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser applications, optimizing their morphology, ionic conductivity, and electrochemical performance.I am currently seeking research or internship opportunities in polymer science, materials engineering, and energy storage systems, where I can apply my skills, continue learning, and contribute to innovative and impactful projects.
