About Aditya Bhave

I’m a second-year Master of Architecture student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a concentration in tall buildings and a deep passion for how architecture shapes urban life and fosters human connection.My journey began in Mumbai, where I earned my B. Arch and became a registered architect with the Council of Architecture, India. At ASA Studio, I gained hands-on experience on a variety of projects ranging from residential bungalows in Nairobi to commercial complexes in Mumbai strengthening my belief in context-sensitive, sustainable design.At UIUC, I’ve continued to explore vertical urbanism and mixed-use development, most recently through a high-rise studio and a hospital design project in collaboration with HDR.In Summer 2025, I worked for three months as an Architectural Intern at Corgan in their Aviation department, contributing to the design and documentation of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport’s Terminal D. My responsibilities included construction documentation (CD) production, BIM modeling, and coordination with multidisciplinary consultants to ensure alignment between design intent, technical requirements, and project deliverables.I look forward to continuing to contribute to innovative, large-scale projects while deepening my expertise in high-density urban architecture.
