Software Engineer at Oracle with 4+ years of experience in backend engineering, building cloud service and cloud native computing and platform engineering- I have strong interests in building scalable and resilient low latency distributed systems. I relish working on the platform tools and the core infrastructure services- Also a contributor to Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) projects, delivering critical features to the OSS communities, and I\'m a maintainer of one such project after I delivered a massive architectural piece which did not look possible and led to an increased performance and adoption of the software- Apart from this, I have interests in Systems performance tuning, Cloud Infrastructure & Tooling, DBMS, Web protocols, P2P systems and Linux internals. Jan 2024 - Present: OCI WebLogic Management Service Data Plane-> Built an event-driven async data plane for the service using OCI Streaming (message queue)+ OCI Functions, reliably handling ~10k concurrent writes into Oracle DB-> Using quartz scheduler, developed backend cron job to handle scheduled automatic scanning of domains to give customers a daily updated bird\'s eye view of their domain-> Created RESTful APIs for patching and backup and restore features. Jul 2021 - Dec 2023: Development of centralized logging system for Verrazzano, a container orchestration platform-> Spearheaded the design and implementation of features for Verrazzano, with specialized expertise in logging and data collection and visualisation using Fluent-Bit, OpenSearch/Elaticsearch, OpenSearch Dashboards/Kibana-> Collaborated with Product Managers and Architects to seamlessly integrate features and meet customer requirements-> Helped maintain tooling and automation for product operations, and also helped enhance testing of features like air gap installation and release distribution-> Contributing to various cloud native open source projects as well, including major enhancements and critical features, which are beneficial for anyone using the project, and makes it possible for those technologies to be used with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
