About Topiwala

As a Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace, I contribute to the design and optimization of jet engine combustors using advanced simulations, including LES, SBES, and RANS. Our work supports the development of next-generation and legacy aircraft engines that keep millions of people flying safely every day. Graduating with an MTech in Fluids and Thermal Engineering from IIT Guwahati, my thesis on hypersonic aerothermodynamics earned the Best Paper Award at ISHMT-ASTFE 2021 and was later published in Computational Thermal Science Journal. My journey in engineering began with turbomachinery CFD during my bachelor\'s project. Passionate about compressible reacting flows and aerodynamics, I strive for continuous learning and innovation in aerospace engineering.
