Adit drove product strategy and corporate development at Freshworks where he assisted senior leadership in defining and executing the long term product vision of the company. As part of the role, he provided relevant market insights along with identifying and evaluating companies and maximising synergies through successful partnerships or acquisitions. As part of acquisitions, he owned the deal lifecycle from origination to closure along with successful integrations.He supported the acquisition of Device42 ($230M acquisition - to deepen Freshservice’s capability in IT Asset Management) and AiQ (Automating customer support using AI/ML for CX). He owned the acquisition of Flint (IT orchestration & cloud management platform for Freshservice) acquisition.Adit has spent considerable time in the investment space, both professionally (Blume Ventures) and personally (as an angel investor and advisor). At Blume, he led investments in Turtlemint, Slice, Runnr (acquired by Zomato), dunzo and supported investment in Grey Orange Robotics, Webengage, Exotel, Framebench (acq. by Freshworks), 1Click (acq. by Freshworks), Greytip, Nivaata, Zopper, Idfy, Qubecell (acq. by Boku), Instamojo, Purpple, Railyatri, Mettl (acq. by Mercer) and a few more.His operational expertise has been in business development, financial control, process automation, key leadership hires, fundraising and scaling. He served as the Chief Business Officer at PayCraft (payment interoperability focussed on urban mobility) before joining Freshworks where he was instrumental in spinning up new business’ and raising strategic funding from Mastercard. In his spare time, he enjoys doing yoga & meditation, teaching, hiking and volunteering (sports and education for children) along with working with stray animals.
