ABOUT ADITI SOLANKI
Aditi is a postgraduate student and researcher, interested in the intersections of international development, social justice and the climate movement. She is currently pursuing her MSc in Global Development at SOAS, University of London, home to one of the world’s top three Development Studies departments. She has a strong multi-disciplinary foundation in Development Studies, with in-depth knowledge spanning radical development theory and practice, political economy of development, development anthropology and climate change. As a SOASian, Aditi is able to adapt internationally with skilful intercultural communication and an inclusive and ethical approach to teamwork. Before her MSc, Aditi completed a BSc in Economics and International Economics at the University of Nottingham, with specialisation in development economics and international trade, alongside robust training in statistical and empirical analysis.Currently, she is undertaking her placement year at ODI Global\'s Resilient and Sustainable Islands Initiative (RESI) in London, a global affairs think tank. At RESI, she has contributed to an extensive range of research projects and publications spanning climate policy and finance, exploring development pathways and climate justice in Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
