Back in 2019, I got married and moved to Seattle. Before I could settle in, I found out that we were expecting a baby. Navigating a new marriage, a new country, a new job, with a baby on the way, was overwhelming to say the least. And then COVID hit and the next morning we all woke up to a new world. Identifying myself as an immigrant in United States and being a new mom without any outside help, has largely shaped my unique perspectives and aspirations. To thrive in a new culture, we must seek the right sources for advice, reach out to the right people, ask for support when needed, be your own best advocates, and learn to leverage negative feedback. Being a parent to two beautiful girls, has taught me to be patient. Being flexible, staying organized, working on tight timelines, and being patient is the key. I take pride in persistence, commitment, hard-work, diligence, empathy, and staying optimistic.One thing that has remained constant over the years, amidst these transitions is my passion for finance. I love finance and its functions as societal tools that allow individuals and companies to overcome financial hurdles and accelerate growth.
