About Aditi Khot
I am working as a data scientist/ energy market analyst at The Energy Authority. In this role, I solve problems for energy market players to match the continuous supply and demand of energy optimally. I aspire to work in a field where I can apply and continuously advance my knowledge in computational modeling of different applications, and at the same time, solve impact-driven problems with a meaningful cause. I finished my doctoral program in chemical engineering at Purdue University. In my PhD thesis, I have worked on developing coarse-grained methods for specific applications such as conducting polymers, as well as improving existing coarse-grained methods using concepts of machine learning and graph theory. I have also worked for Advanced Material Future Preparedness Taskforce as well as volunteered for various social services initiatives.
