ABOUT ADITI GUPTA

Leader in Product Design and UX Researcher with 5+ years of experience - 4 years of experience as a UI Developer - and a decade of technology experience. My career began at Infosys where I largely worked with technical skills in code development to deliver projects. I soon progressed into a senior developer role and worked on large accounts. After building a solid technology and process foundation I had the opportunity to move my career into design so I could bring purpose to my work by working on the \"why\" and \"who\" behind product developments. I spent 1 year at a technology start-up Hashtaag, working directly with various clients and developing a deep knowledge of agile, and lean UX. Once I started working as a UX Designer, I knew that this was where my career would remain for a while. I love designing products and solving problems for users with real human needs. I find Product Design the perfect intersection of technology and creativity. Building useful products means bringing innovation and an open mind every day to work, along with a desire to keep learning with a growth mindset. I have taken multiple products and feature enhancements from the whiteboard to the market building my experience in the field. I lead UX and UI Design for a national-wide e-commerce platform for Imperial Tobacco Canada as the sole designer while also conducting research. I shipped programs like Subscription, Loyalty, Referral, and BFCM promotion among others, generating sales and engagement. Most recently at Mejuri, I enhanced membership experiences with hands-on research while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Leading unmoderated evaluative research, I validated and improved design strategies and contributed to a cohesive design system, before taking a sabbatical to travel through Europe and work for my family business back in India. After completing my two years of studies in Interactive Media Design in Canada, I worked for over a year for Keller Williams Realty and later, Rodesale Academy, a female-owned education tech start-up. I designed and launched an agent portal backed by interviews for KW Realty that helped them improve their retention rates and build trust with its brokerage agents. At Rosedale, I improved their B2B online experience, generating business leads and improving trust among their existing partners.
