As part of the Market Risk Analysis and Control (MRAC) division, I am responsible for:*Conducting detailed analysis of business- level VaR risk numbers, portfolio drill-downs, and reviewing risk methodologies.*Performing SVaR analysis, evaluating extreme scenarios, and providing commentary to Market Risk Managers (MRMs).*Generating and reviewing critical risk reports covering various metrics, including VaR, SVaR, IRC.*Validating risk feeds, mapping risk factors, and implementing effective control measures.*Investigating and resolving data exceptions and coordinating with MRAC functions, MRMs, and Finance teams to address risk issues across multiple asset classes.*Automating key risk reporting processes using Python programming, leading to reduced errors and improved turnaround times (TAT).*Gaining hands-on exposure to valuation and VaR calculations for financial assets across Equities, and Credit Derivatives.
