WORK HISTORY
American Heart Association Predoctoral Fellow @American Heart Association
Chicago, IL, US
Funded by the American Heart Association, my doctoral work focuses on designing upper limb-based interventions to influence lower limb spinal and supraspinal circuitry after stroke—bridging neuroscience, rehabilitation, and technology- Exploring how non-invasive neuromodulation (TMS, PNS) can enhance motor recovery and improve functional outcomes in stroke survivors- Investigating both spinal (H-reflex) and cortical (TMS) mechanisms, alongside strength and performance metrics, to understand how upper limb activity shapes lower limb function- The ultimate goal is to develop clinically feasible, scalable interventions that can be integrated into gait rehabilitation strategies- This work sits at the intersection of translational neuroscience, clinical application, and patient-centered innovation.
