About Adithya Kumar Velamala
I am a highway engineer with eight years of experience in design of roads using DMRB and IRC Standards. I worked on multiple large Local Authority schemes in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire and National Highways, Expressways under National highways Authority of India. I have working knowledge on geometric design of mainline and at- grade junctions, roundabouts as per DMRB and MFS Standards, cycleway and footway proposals using LTN1/20 and DMRB guidance. 3D road corridor modelling using Autodesk Civil 3d, traffic signs and markings as per TSM and TSRGD guidance using PDS Sign and Line software. I have carried out geometric designs for projects varying from optioneering stage to prelim and detail design stage and subsequently submitted drawing packages for Road Safety Audits, Planning Approvals, Tenders and Construction.I take the lead during the design management meeting, conveying the design/ project updates to wider team and providing technical support and training to assistant engineers and Graduate engineer with in the team.I have won multiple recognition for my collaboration with different disciplines and contributions to delivering the projects to high quality and standards.
