ABOUT ADISHREE GARG

At GirlUp Aashayein, I lead a team of passionate and dedicated volunteers who work towards empowering girls and women in underrepresented spaces. As the Executive Director, I oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of our diverse and talented volunteers, as well as the development and implementation of our organizational policies and culture. I am pursuing a BA in English and Psychology from Delhi University, where I have developed strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable me to build and maintain positive relationships with our stakeholders, partners, and beneficiaries. I also have a keen interest in learning new skills and best practices in the field of human resources, and I have earned a certification in Essential New Skills in Recruiting from LinkedIn. My goal is to become a professionally competent and socially sensitive leader who can create an inclusive and equitable environment for everyone.
