Facilitate community-based education presentations for caregivers and professionals about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, as well as the programs and services of CaringKind. Developed and presented on dementia related topics for the Orthodox Jewish Community such as \'Caregiving and Difficult Emotions\',\'Caring for the Caregiver: Passover Edition\' and \'Dementia and Holocaust Survivors.\'Conduct needs assessments, assist with care planning and problem solving, and provide support (including information and referral, psychoeducation, short-term counseling, and follow up) to individuals and families dealing with Alzheimer\'s Disease and related dementias, via telephone, email, and satellite offices and/or co-located programs. Provides evidence-based interventions to individuals in early stage dementia as well as care partners. Facilitates Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Groups and caregiver coaching using the REACH-TX protocol.Organized and facilitates Caregiver Support Group for adult child caregivers of people with dementia in the Orthodox Jewish community as well as a spousal group for the greater community.Assist clients in navigating the various systems of care with which they may interact, including but not limited to hospitals, primary care providers, home care agencies, social adult day programs, community-based supports, assisted living and adult care facilities, and nursing homes. Provides guidance around benefits and entitlements such as Medicare and Medicaid.
