ABOUT ADIL KHAN N

I am a third-year undergraduate at IIT Gandhinagar pursuing Dual Majors in Computer Science and Chemical Engineering, with a strong focus on Machine Learning, Generative AI, and applied research.Currently, I am:• AI/ML Intern working on applied LLM systems, where I design agentic RAG pipelines for complex, unstructured documents (PDFs, tables, images, equations) with ambiguity-aware validation and structured retrieval mechanisms.• Pursuing a project course under Prof. Shanmuganathan Raman on Multimodal Coreset Selection for Vision–Language Models, where I am studying efficient subset selection strategies for large-scale image–text datasets, benchmarking coreset techniques on CLIP-based models, and exploring coverage, diversity, and uncertainty-driven sampling approaches.Previously, as a Summer Research Intern at IIT Tirupati, I built transformer-based models for multivariate time-series fault classification, analyzing positional encoding strategies and attention behaviors across 21 fault classes.My core interests include:• Generative AI (LLMs, RAG systems, Agents)• Multimodal Learning (Vision–Language Models)• Deep Learning & Transformers• Representation Learning• Reliable and Scalable AI SystemsI enjoy building complete ML pipelines — from exploratory data analysis and modeling to evaluation, validation, and deployment-oriented system design.I am currently open to opportunities in:• Generative AI• Machine Learning Engineering• Research Internships• Applied AI SystemsIf you’re working on challenging problems in GenAI or Multimodal ML, I’d be happy to connect and collaborate.
