ABOUT ADIB RIZVI
I am a museologist, historian, geographer and digital archaeologist who is passionate about heritage conservation, including both tangible and intangible cultural heritage. As a digital archaeologist, I utilize technology like virtual reality, and geographical information systems to digitally preserve and analyze archaeological artifacts and sites. I have expertise in 3D digitization within museum settings using photogrammetry tools, which allows me to create detailed digital replicas of objects and locations to conserve them for future generations. In my role at the museum, I also give engaging gallery tours to share my knowledge about the artifacts and their historical and cultural significance with visitors. As a researcher, I employ rigorous methodologies and an evidence-based approach in my work to ensure accuracy and objectivity in analyzing and documenting elements of cultural heritage. My background bridging history, museums, technology, and research enables me to take a holistic approach to safeguarding humanity\'s cultural memory. and artifacts against loss and destruction.
