Born in Saudi Arabia to Eritrean heritage and now living in Canada, I’ve had the unique opportunity to immerse myself in three diverse cultures, which has shaped my identity and deepened my passion for embracing different perspectives. After eight rewarding years as a marketing specialist—where I mastered data analysis, campaign strategies, and storytelling—I sought a more hands-on challenge that combines creativity with problem-solving. That’s when I transitioned into full-stack development.Starting with curiosity-driven YouTube tutorials and later completing comprehensive Udemy courses, I advanced my skills by enrolling in the BrainStation Bootcamp. I built a strong foundation in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while also expanding into back-end development with Node.js, Express.js, and databases like MongoDB. This journey has empowered me to craft seamless user experiences on the front-end while ensuring efficiency and functionality on the back-end.One of my most rewarding projects involved building a full-stack web application using React and Express.js. I’m excited to contribute this expertise to a forward-thinking team that values creativity and innovation and to grow alongside new challenges continuously.
