Physician–executive and GI medical oncologist leading precision oncology strategy and innovation at Natera. I serve as Senior Medical Director for GI Oncology & Innovations, where I drive the clinical development, evidence generation, and adoption of tumor-informed minimal residual disease (MRD) testing across colorectal, gastric/GEJ, hepatocellular, pancreatic, biliary cancers and NETs.My work sits at the intersection of clinical oncology, molecular diagnostics, and translational science. I focus on integrating ctDNA into real-world decision-making: risk stratification, adjuvant therapy optimization, recurrence monitoring, and response assessment—while building the data frameworks required for regulatory, guideline, and payer adoption.Beyond MRD, I am involved in developing next-generation innovation lanes spanning digital pathology, AI/ML-driven biomarker discovery, and multi-omics integration. I work cross-functionally across R&D, medical affairs, regulatory, and commercial teams to translate large-scale genomic and clinical datasets into scalable, practice-changing solutions.My goal is simple but ambitious: move oncology from reactive imaging-based relapse detection to proactive molecular disease interception, thereby making cancer management earlier, smarter, and more individualized.
